Brianna McCovey, Of Counsel Attorney
Education & Experience
Brianna earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Irvine, with a degree in Political Science. Brianna attended American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. where she graduated Cum Laude earning her Juris Doctor degree in May of 2019. While at American University, Brianna participated in the Domestic Violence Clinic for two semesters and received a special honor for her work with clients in difficult life circumstances. She was an Executive Board member of the law school’s Family Law Association.
Additionally, Brianna gained valuable experience during numerous internships working in civil litigation firms, working as an immigration law clerk, and working for a Senator. Brianna sat for and passed the 2019 July bar exam and began working in family law. Brianna has almost two years of working in family law from handling divorce and child custody matters, representing victims of domestic violence in Civil Protection matters, as well as helping pro-se litigants draft and file documents with the Family Law Court.

I always knew I wanted to be a family law attorney because I have a passion for helping and working with children. I am excited to be working with Moore Law for Children to follow this passion. When not practicing law, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog Cooper.
